ANNOUNCING THE WINNERS OF THE
ONE WORLD BIRTH HEROES AWARDS 2011
After thousands of votes cast, I am excited to announce the winners of the One World Birth Heroes Awards 2011. There are two categories, WORLD BIRTH HEROES and NATIONAL BIRTH HEROES.
Nominated by the One World Birth Facebook and Twitter communities, the awards recognise the hard-work, dedication and passion of birth professionals around the world. These are the people working in the birth world that have inspired you.
Thank you so much to everyone who nominated the incredible list of birth heroes and of course, to everyone who was on that list. In our view, all are heroes. And our sincere heartfelt thanks to every single person who voted. Next year, we intend to run the awards again, but on a much bigger scale. We hope to open the nominations for the ONE WORLD BIRTH HEROES AWARDS 2012 in October 2012.
I am pleased to say the wonderful 2011 winners have accepted their awards and we now have our:
